Today I was downtown on other business when I drove past the Ploughcroft. I knew of it but had not had the chance to visit. Now, loving all things British, I had to stop in! To my pleasant surprise, I found this charming place filled with people! As a small business person in the Burg, I am always happy to see this! As there was not a table vacant, I was kindly offered a comfy couch by the quaint little fire box. Here I was served a lovely pot of tea in a proper china teacup. I was tended to by a lovely young man and enjoyed a delightful lunch of broccoli cheese soup and delicious scones. I cannot wait until my next visit. It is indeed a lovely little jewel in the crown of my city. I only hope that I can adjust my schedule to enjoy the royal wedding on Friday! Thank you for making my day,
