We can book many months in advance however, we typically hold these the private events/parties on Sundays or after hours therefore call as soon as you have a date set and we will try our best to accomodate you and your needs.

The Ploughcroft is open from Monday – Saturday every week from the hours of 11:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.. Lunch is served until 2:00P.M. and Afternoon Tea Time is available from 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M.. Today I was downtown on other business when I drove past the Ploughcroft. I knew of it but had not had the chance to visit. Now, loving all things British, I had to stop in! To my pleasant surprise, I found this charming place filled with people! As a small business person in the Burg, I am always happy to see this! As there was not a table vacant, I was kindly offered a comfy couch by the quaint little fire box. Here I was served a lovely pot of tea in a proper china teacup. I was tended to by a lovely young man and enjoyed a delightful lunch of broccoli cheese soup and delicious scones. I cannot wait until my next visit. It is indeed a lovely little jewel in the crown of my city. I only hope that I can adjust my schedule to enjoy the royal wedding on Friday! Thank you for making my day,
